Dear students,
We want our students to take pride in preparing and working toward their immediate goals and future careers. Academic integrity is a core value of the University and builds trust within our community of scholars, researchers, and students. Each individual has the personal and collective responsibility to embrace and to create this confidence in our environment. Please join us in these expectations and commitments.
The Academic Integrity Committee (AIC) is the decision-making body for cases arising under the Academic Integrity Policy. The AIC consists of three faculty, three undergraduate students, three graduate students and two student affairs professionals. The faculty members are chosen by the University Senate, the undergraduate students are chosen by the Undergraduate Student Government, and the graduate students are chosen by the Graduate Student Council. A hearing panel consists of one faculty, one student (either graduate or undergraduate, depending on the class level of the accused student) and one student affairs professional.
