Reception Desks
Each Residence Hall has a reception desk that serves various student needs throughout the day. Workers at the reception desk sort and deliver all mail and packages, as well as many other services. Not all of the desks have the same materials or services, but they are all fairly similar.
Residents can come to the reception desk to make copies or send faxes for a minimal fee, or to purchase stamps and envelopes, special occasion guest meal tickets, staples and/or transparencies. The reception desk is the place to receive refunds for pop cans, cash checks, register guests, pick up guest parking permits, and receive new light bulbs for University light fixtures. Room check-in and check-out are also done through the reception desk.
Residents can also use their hall council membership cards to check out drills, wrenches, TV's and VCR's, sewing machines, irons and ironing boards, magazines, board games, baseballs and bats, footballs, and much more.
