How To Apply
Step 1 - All candidates are required to attend one of our Information Sessions. Your application will not be considered complete unless you have attended one of these events. The Information Sessions will be held:
- Wednesday, November 18 at 7:30pm in Dow 642
- Thursday, December 3 at 7:30pm in Fisher 139
- Tuesday, December 8 at 7:30pm in Fisher 139
- Thursday, January 14 at 7:30pm in DHH Ballroom
- Sunday, January 17 at 4:00pm in DHH Ballroom
Step 2 - After attending an information session you will be emailed the Student Life Application Form. You will then need to login to NACElink, the Career Center's online placement system and search for your first choice position. Upload your application and resume for your first choice only on NACElink. All applications must be completed by Thursday, January 21 at 11:59pm. Step 3 - After all of the applications are in, the interview process will start. There are two interiews that you will need to attend, the first of which is a Group Process Session. The Group Process Sessions are interactive group interviews. You will have the opportunity to sign up for the session that best fits your schedule. All candidates with completed applications will be emailed instructions on how to sign up for a Group Process Session. Dress casually and remember to be on time. The Group Process Sessions will be held:
- Tuesday, January 19 from 6:00pm-9:00pm
- Saturday, January 23 from 11:00am-2:00pm and 3:00pm-6:00pm
- Sunday, January 24 from 11:00am-2:00pm
Step 4 - After your Group Process Session you will have an individual interview. Interviews will take place between January 25 and February 12, 2010. Please dress appropriately and remember to be on time. Interviews will last approximately 30 minutes. You will receive further instructions about how to sign up for your individual interview(s) via email.
Step 5 - On Monday, February 22, 2010 decision letters will be available. This letter will inform you whether or not you have been selected as a member of the Student Life Staff for the 2010-2011 academic year.
